Conflict intervention offers non-adversarial options to ease tensions, transform conflict, or resolve a dispute headed to litigation. Services include communication coaching, negotiation consulting, and outreach to convene a mediation among disputing parties.
The service provides swift, informal, confidential access to a highly skilled neutral negotiator. Clients receive the benefit of a detached perspective on issues of concern as well as situational analysis. Consultations often generate creative strategies to resolve disputes, along with an action plan.
The earlier a neutral negotiator is introduced to conflict or a dispute, the more likely a peaceful resolution may be reached. If circumstances are not yet ripe for a full resolution, the process can at least help focus on next steps and clarify the parties’ critical objectives. Conflict intervention often sets things up for a successful mediation, and/or limits the emotional and financial costs of litigation when it cannot be avoided.
